Hi!

Wow, It's been a while since my last post. How have you been? How was your christmas? Did you eat a lot and get very sick? Did you get lots of presents? I want to know everything! This was my first christmas with my boyfriend. We spent part of the vacation with my family and then we went over to his parents'. I think I have a very family & intimate idea of Christmas so that sharing Christmas with him felt like something big. We both got loads of presents and I believe we are going to drive a completely packed car to Zurich!

getting cozy
Really I am in love with summer
- I love summer food: peaches, tomatoes, cherries and apricots,
- I like the heat and the sun,
- Going to the beach and
- wearing colorful clothes.
- I like seeing dots of lights at every window,
- Feeling my cheeks getting pink from the cold
- Humming the heat when I open my door
- Wrapping up in a blanket on my couch

Almost there
I was in Paris this past week-end. Involved were a birthday celebration, some shopping, a museum visit, good food, meeting with friends, and tea breaks in traditional french "café". You know what? I am truly missing some things from the US but those kind of week-ends make my coming back to Europe really worth it! Starting Friday I am on vacations and I am hoping to be able to post again a couple of things before the end of the year... talk yo you soon :-)

Feeling Christmas
I am sorry it took me so long to get back on line but those past days have been really crazy. As I told you, I moved to my new apartment in Zurich. Since then, my spare time has been shared between buying stuffs at Ikea, building the stuffs bought at Ikea, going back to Ikea to complain about the missing parts in the packages (I officially hate Ikea as of now), calling the moving company to complain about my stolen boxes (another one that I truly hate now) and so on. In short, lots of boring and painful stuffs which are not even over yet... great!
Also, I still don't have internet at the apartment [right now, I am stealing my internet connection from one of my friendly neighbor's unsecured wireless networks hé hé] so it might take me again some time before I am back full time here. But believe me, I have been missing the posting and the chatting with you here or on your blogs. So today, I am truly glad to be able to show you those couple of pics from Alsace. Etienne and I took last sunday off and drove there for the day. The weather was horrible but it felt nice to get away from the craziness for a few hours. We enjoyed all the lights in the streets, bought really yummy food on the christmas markets and I finally felt that Christmas was coming... happiness :-)
Talk to you soon; cheers!
[By the way, the blog is officially moving to only-english posts. Tired of doing the translations, I figured that most if not all of you can read and understand english. If not, please don't blame me, keep reading and start practicing!]
